How To Choose The Ideal Wedding Venue

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

When searching for the perfect wedding venue think practical and efficient. See your venue as the dress you would wear to the Oscars. You only wear it for a short while but of you hit the jackpot when buying it people will be talking about it for months or maybe years to come. You want to breathe in it but still be elegant, you want people to admire you in it and you want to feel glamorous without the fear of bankruptcy. But remember, you don`t alter Vera to fit you, you alter yourself to fit Vera so certain compromises must be made.

Your venue is just like the dress you would wear to the Oscars. You wear it once for just fifteen minutes on the red carpet but if you hit the jackpot people are going to talk about you for weeks, maybe years. So keep your eyes wide open when searching for it because you want to be able to breathe in it without compromising your elegance, you want people`s admiration and you want to be glamorous with no regard to bankruptcy. Always remember that you can`t copy and paste so you may have to compromise.

Either way take into consideration that your family and friends will be by your side so may decide that sand and corn are not the perfect setting. Think proportional and efficient. If you`re expecting some 200 guests choose a bigger place where all can breathe easily and not step on each other’s toes and nerves. Assure yourself that drunken people won`t be leaving at the end by providing quarters or other accommodations. See if the parking lot can take the number of cars expected and try to find a location as easily accessible as possible.

But remember that either way you won`t be alone and I am not talking about your partner. Your families are going to be there and so are your friends. Considering this you may need to regroup and find a more suitable place to host your party. If you`re expecting 200 guests choose a place where everyone can feel comfortable. That big number of people should not feel claustrophobic and they should be able to dance, talk and basically move around without getting in a bundle. Provide accommodation for those of your guests that come from a long way or for those that had one too many drinks. You don`t want a drunken caravan flying down the freeway. Look carefully at the parking space. See that the estimate number of cars does not surpass the capacity of the lot. Also the venue needs to be easily accessible by all guests.

Sadly the biggest obstacle you need to overcome these days is the budget factor. Fortunately, despite the absence of money, there are plenty of places to choose from. The cheaper alternatives are also the less funny ones and come as historical land marks, like the National Library where Mr. Big and Carrie were supposed to get married in, gardens or theatre houses. The more glamorous ones could be easily listed as real estate heaven and usually grace the country side.

The beautiful locations could be easily listed under Heaven and are most likely castles or sumptuous country houses just like Stoke Place, a 1690 built estate available for exclusive hire for wedding venues in buckinghamshire, birthdays and anniversaries.
