Anniversary bands symbolise the continuing love of a married couple. A new tradition that is growing in popularity, these rings are a way for a couple to show that their love endures. The perfect circle of the anniversary ring represents eternity, thus anniversary bands are often also known as eternity rings.
On one hand, it’s hard to blame these people who think solitaire diamond engagement rings are the ultimate rings. They are beautiful, classy, glittery, expensive, posh, etc. There are infinite things you can say about diamond solitaire engagement rings. But, unfortunately, these rings’ massive popularity has caused them to be rather unoriginal. Some women don’t look for the glitz and glamor of diamond engagement rings but, rather, they look for more unique engagement rings. When you look at engaged women around the western world, it’s easy to understand why a newly engaged would choose a more unique engagement ring. They have simply become too common!
Just how much one can afford for an engagement ring often depends on two crucial factors. These factors are of course the amount of money that can be put away each paycheck, and how long the buyer is willing to wait. If a middle to high class ring is the objective, then the buyer may want to think about saving money over time. This means having an extra two or three hundred dollars taken out of each paycheck in order to secure enough money to buy a ring in the $2000 to $3000 dollar range within year’s span of time. It might be best to set the price limit lower if it’s impossible to put away that much money each month, or if the ring needs to be bought within the next few months. Rings that are under $1000 are the ideal target if faced with such constraints. Rings at that price can easily be saved up for with only a hundred dollars or less set aside each month. Thus, the rings can be purchased quickly if faced with demanding time constraints. There’s still one last factor to consider, and from a woman’s point of view it might be the only one that really matters.
The matter of taste is one of the most racking issues encountered when picking out an engagement ring. Just because a ring is made out of decent materials, and has a great price does not mean that one’s perspective spouse will like it. It’s just as important for the buyer to cater to the significant others’ tastes as it is to save money when buying the ring. If the recipient’s tastes are known, then it’s fine to surprise them with a ring that’s wonderfully priced. Of course, the price tag can always be removed thus obscuring the amount of money paid for the ring. This is great if the intended recipient has a preference for expensive items. If the perspective spouse’s sense of style is unknown then it becomes necessary to ask on occasion. This can dramatically increase the amount of money that has to be spent, though rings similar to the ones the recipient points out can sometimes be found at great prices.
Individually, all of these factors can seem simple, but together they can become a little daunting. The best way to deal with all of these factors together is to set a price range from the start. Don’t go over that price limit if at all possible. The range should probably be no greater than $3600 period. From there take into account the style of the ring, as it does no one any good if the ring doesn’t fit with the prospective spouse’s sense of aesthetics.
