Have you heard this term before? I haven’t. And when I read about it I couldn’t believe they were serious.
Suddenly, where there was once a beer-drinking, messy man who bragged about belching the alphabet, now there is someone stressing about the color of invitations and mumbling incoherently about wedding favors. If your fiancĂ©’s brain has been invaded by Groomzilla, the following tips will help you keep your sanity.
I just don’t think that guys *should* care this much about a wedding. Sure, we’re spending more of our own money these days, for several reasons, but that doesn’t mean we need to act like the women in our lives over a party with our friends.
Us guys are supposed to worry about just a few aspects of the wedding, and occasionally a little more when required by our brides. If it’s not about the formal wear, honeymoon, engagement and wedding rings, and maybe the location and officiant, then we don’t have any business getting too excited. Don’t confuse getting excited with caring. No. These are two completely different things. Caring is what we do because we love our bride and want her to be happy. Getting excited has to do with acting like a bride. Just don’t do it. It’s not healthy. Your bride will be grateful; trust me.
